Our Arduino Summer Bootcamp turned the summer break into a hands-on maker experience, taking students from their first circuit to a working robot.
What the session covered
- Electronics basics with LEDs, buttons, buzzers and breadboards
- Arduino programming: inputs, outputs, loops and conditions
- Sensors: light, temperature, IR and ultrasonic distance
- Motors and motor drivers for movement
Hands-on activity
Every day ended with a build — a traffic-light system, a smart night lamp and a parking sensor — leading to a final robot car that each team designed, built and demonstrated.
Outcome
Students finished the bootcamp with real projects, confidence in electronics and coding, and certificates presented on demo day.
