IoT with ESP32 & Cloud Dashboards teaches you to build connected devices end to end: sensors on an ESP32, data sent over Wi-Fi, a cloud backend and a live dashboard that you can check and control from your phone.
The course runs in a hybrid format — concepts online, hands-on hardware sessions at our Ahmedabad lab — so it fits around college or work.
Who this course is for
- Engineering and diploma students in EC, EE, CE and IT
- Arduino and robotics learners ready to connect projects to the internet
- Professionals and makers building smart-home or monitoring solutions
What you will learn
- ESP32 architecture, Wi-Fi and programming with the Arduino IDE
- Reading temperature, humidity, gas and motion sensors
- IoT protocols: HTTP, REST APIs and MQTT
- Cloud databases with Firebase and real-time dashboards
- Controlling appliances safely with relays
- Device security basics and over-the-air (OTA) updates
Course plan
Week 1: ESP32 and sensors
Set up the ESP32, read digital and analog sensors and connect to Wi-Fi.
Week 2: Talking to the cloud
Send data with HTTP and MQTT, use a broker and store readings in Firebase.
Week 3: Dashboards and remote control
Build a live dashboard, then switch lights and fans remotely through relays.
Week 4: Capstone smart-home system
Combine monitoring, alerts and control into one system and demo it to your batch.
Projects you will build
- Weather and air-quality monitoring station
- Smart switchboard controlled from your phone
- Smart-home capstone with live dashboard and alerts
Tools and hardware
ESP32 development board, DHT22 temperature-humidity sensor, MQ-series gas sensor, PIR motion sensor, relay module, OLED display, breadboard and jumper wires, plus free cloud tools (MQTT broker, Firebase and dashboard apps).
Prerequisites
Basic Arduino or C programming. If you are new to Arduino, take Robotics Foundations first or ask us for a short preparation session.
After the course
Join the IoT Internship to build industrial-style monitoring systems, or add intelligence to your devices with AI on the Edge.
Frequently asked questions
What does hybrid mean for this course?
Theory and coding sessions are live online, and hardware sessions take place at our Ahmedabad lab. Online-only learners receive a kit list to practise at home.
Are the cloud tools free?
Yes. We use free tiers of MQTT brokers, Firebase and dashboard services that are ideal for learning and prototypes.
Can I use this for my final-year project?
Yes. Many learners extend their capstone into a college project, and mentors can guide you on scope.
Fees, batch timings and seat availability are shared on enquiry. Message us on WhatsApp or use the enquiry form, and our team will help you choose the right batch.
